The 3 premium manufacturers from Germany that kept snapping their teeth at each other for the last decades, are topping ADAC’s AutoMarxx 2013, with BMW extending its lead over its competitors.
Judging by brand image, market strength, customer satisfaction, product strength, environmental protection and safety, the Munich-based company managed to extend its lead over the runner up, Audi.
Up until June of this year, the Automobile Club claims that, the differences between the 3 were minimal but things changed over the last few months, with a clear advantage for the Bavarians.
The decisive factors that helped BMW top the rankings were the high customer satisfaction and record sales. On top of that (no pun intended), the new i brand helped out a lot in the environmental protection segment.
Skoda, on the other hand, was the brand that recorded the biggest jump forward, climbing 2 spots, from ninth to seventh place.
