A while back we told you that the 2 Series will be entering motorsport events raced by private teams because BMW announced that it will be releasing an M235i Racing model with a starting price of EUR59,900.
The car looked interesting, to say the least, in its first renderings and BMW decided to tease us even more by releasing an official sketch of the racing car that looks absolutely amazing.
According to their official press release, the M235i Racing model will have 333 HP coming out of the same 3-liter turbocharged engine under the bonnet and will benefit from a limited-slip differential, ABS, DSC and traction control.
On top of that the body will, of course, be aerodynamically optimized as to allow the car to race in such events like the VLN Endurance Championship and the Nurburgring 24 hours.
