Slovenian aftermarket exhaust manufacturer Akrapovic is definitely one of the best in the business. So, when people started complaining about the sound of the new BMW M4, many turned to them for a solution. Fortunately, they came up with an exhaust soon enough to calm some of the enthusiasts down.
Their solution has the usual advantages over the stock configuration that we’ve been getting used to. Apart from offering a deeper, more enticing sound, the Akrapovic exhaust also has some technical advantages.
For example, being made out of titanium, a complete exhaust will save up to 7.1 kilograms (15.6 lbs) off the kerb weight of the car. On top of that, the power increase can rise up to 17 HP and 33.4 Nm (24.6 lb-ft) of torque.
Of course, such performance comes at a price and in the US prices vary around the $6,700 margin, depending on your preferred shop. Is it worth it, though? Well, you’ll have to decide for yourself but we think we found the perfect way of letting you know.
In the video and gallery below you get to listen and look at a completely decked out BMW M4 with the Akrapovic exhaust. Not only that but the car itself was wrapped in a special livery with the name of the Slovenian company.
While it may look like a mobile advertising panel, even with all the huge lettering on it, this car is absolutely stunning to behold, if you ask us.
