If your dream to give up everything and become a taxi driver, nobody will ever be able to blame you after seeing the clip below. The piece of footage brings us a day in the life of a Ring Taxi driver (what did you expect - Manhattan?).
While some of the people who drive tourists around the Nordschleife stick to manhandling their BMWs and call it a day, we're dealing with an entirely different type of driver here.
The guy using the driver's seat of the F80 BMW M3 Ring Taxi in the clip below has decided to share the recording of his shenanigan with us. And what a shenanigan this is.
We like to call such drivers 'Ring Wolves, since they use their experience to keep up with much faster machines handled by drivers who still get confused around the Green Hell at times.
While we've brought you a Renault Megane RS keeping up with a Porsche 911 GT3 RS, as well as with Ferraris, this time around the new M3 manages to stay with a Porsche Cayman GT4 and a Lamborghini Aventador Superveloce.
Loaded with passengers, the M3, which is a 7:50 car, has no issue playing with the 7:42 Cayman GT4 and the sub-seven Aventador SV. This only comes to show how much of a difference the element between the steering wheels and the pedals can make.
In fact, the difference in 'Ring skill is even visible when comparing the Porsche and the Lambo, with the Zuffenhausen machine driver proving more Nordschleife-capable than the guy in the Sant'Agata Bolognese beast. And remember kids, the Aventador SV can lap the Nurburgring just three seconds behind the all-mighty 918 Spyder.
Sure, the Ring Taxi driver admits we're dealing with one of the best laps this year, but the season kicked off less than a month ago, so there's plenty of time for us to enjoy more Green Hell adventures.
