BMW M Print, the M6 Tire Printing Machine!

BMW USA decided to do something special for the fans, something that had never been done before. The idea came to them that they could use the big rear tires of the M6 coupe, their fastest car, to print tire tread onto brochures they would send out.
And so, the M6 was fitted with an ink spraying rig that covers the rear tires in black at the flip of a switch. The car was then driven by Matt Mullins, the chief driving instructor of the BMW Performance Driving School, round a short course covered in white brochures.

Check out the video above, and see how the 4.4-liter V8 super coupe puts tire to paper and reaches 60 in 4.2 seconds in less than favorable conditions.

The really cool thing is that since this was not an industrial process, every one of those cars is unique, and we believe they have true collector’s value as a result. Tell us if you’ve gotten one yet!

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
