Starting with this week, BMW Group's financial services will benefit from new technology infused into iPads and Android tabs that will allow customers to get a better grip on what the insurance services provide.
The interactive iPad approach for customers is actually an app the benefits both the customers and the dealers, according to Steve Bottieri, General Manager, Insurance for BMW Group Financial Services.
“Our protection products provide our customers with peace of mind, lending itself to a better experience during their lease or loan with BMW Financial Services,” said Bottieri.
“By visually displaying the parts of the car that are covered by our protection products, we can demonstrate a true value proposition, while our customers feel informed and are more engaged in the process.” Bottieri added.
Using the tablets, customers can view protection plans specific for their own State and geographic region. Furthermore, they can see detailed examples on screen, using various car models.
Unfortunately, the tool was created by Atlanta-based Safe-Guard Products International and, even though it was developed for customers, it's only available in dealerships.
