The current year will probably turn out very profitable for the BMW Group. During the last 10 months the Bavarians posted growing sale numbers on almost all of their markets, including Europe.
In the old continent, the German company sold a total of 711,918 vehicles, a growth of 0.1 percent compared to last year's 711,199 units, over the same time table. However, other markets grew a lot more.

From January to October, Asia posted an overall growth of 17.7 percent, reaching a total of 469,434 units, out of which China accounted for 317,822 deliveries (a 20 percent year-to-date increase), Japan for 51,091 (12 percent increase) and South Korea for 32,641 (18.8 percent increase).

As for the Americas, 366,661 vehicles were sold across the Atlantic over until the end of October, a 11.1 percent increase over last year's 330,042 units. Out of the total, 295,474 cars were delivered to the US alone.
