BMW Gets Multiple Awards from BusinessCar

BMW seems to be in a league of its own, as UK magazine BusinessCar decided to honour the German brand with seven different awards. Firstly, the brand itself was named “Manufacturer of the Year” and “Environmental Award of the Year.”

"The class-leading combination of incredible efficiency, badge and product desirability and great driving cars has obviously struck a chord with the readers of BusinessCar – those people whose decision make a huge difference to the operation of companies and organisations across the country,” said Paul Barker, Editor of BusinessCar.

“The Manufacturer of the Year award reflects BMW’s huge range of appealing products that the corporate sector relies on, while the Environmental Award is richly deserved for the spectacular achievement of EfficientDynamics, which saves both companies and corporate drivers a large amount of money without any compromise in driving performance or specification.”

Apart from the two main awards, the Germans also managed to get the “Supermini of the Year” award with MINI, the “Lower Medium Car of the Year” award with the three- and five-door BMW 1 Series models, the “Medium Car of the Year” award with the BMW 3 Series Saloon and Touring. The 5 Series Saloon and Touring won “Executive Car of the Year” award, while the BMW X5 was named “Large 4x4 of the Year”.
