In November, as the rest of the current year by the way, the BMW Group posted record sales once again, heading furiously towards another record breaking year as the company heads for its 100th anniversary.
Overall, the BMW Group delivered 174,996 units worldwide, a 2.7 percent increase compared to the same month of 2012 (170,461 units). On a year-to-date basis sales went up by 6.8 percent, reaching a new all-time-high of 1,777,017 vehicles.
BMW Brand sales went up even more, reaching a climb of 3.2 percent in November adding up to 149,663 compared to the 144,980 recorded last year. As for the year-to-date stats, 1,499,308 BMW Brand vehicles were sold worldwide, an 8 percent increase.
To help out with the record-breaking numbers, cars like the new 3 Series GT, 4 Series Coupe the new 5 Series and 6 Series pitched in posting record numbers in their own categories.
