What’s more BMW announced a partnership with Toyota under which the Japanese automaker will provide hybrid tech in exchange for efficient diesels to put in its smaller models.
Yesterday, German industry newsletter Automobil Produktion said that a Hyundai official has met with BMW top brass in Munich to talk about a deal. The report said that the son of Hyundai chairman Chung Mong-koo, met with officials at BMW’s officials, and while that’s plausible, it’s still too early to tell.
The only thing that BMW and Hyundai should feasibly collaborate on in our minds are ultra-small 1.0-liter turbos.
