Perhaps the best lessons that come from the Nurburgring are delivered by near crashes. After all, these shenanigans allow those who rish to ride the Nordschleife roller coaster to learn from others' mistakes without the latter actually having to pay for their errors.
And a recent example of the kind comes from the BMW 3 Series adventure that brought us here. We're looking at an E36 Coupe, which is one of the most affordable and yet proper ways to tackle the Green Hell - note that the hooning we have here took place during yesterday's public session.

In fact, it looks like this example of the Bavarian coup had been prepped for the track - I'm not sure if that 318is decale is there for trolling reasons or not, but there are plenty of clues towards this machine's track performance.

From the wide tracks and the generously-sized wheels, to the aero bits, the stripped-out cabin and the roll cage, this 3er seems to have what it takes to blitz the Ring.

Then again, it looks like the driver of the E36 pushed things too far while running from an E92 M3. Luckily, the aficioando was saved by a gravel trap.

Nevertheless, the gear head made a few mistakes, from overcorrecting to a later countersteer reaction, all this while the Beemer was transitioning from the gravel to the asphalt, which caused violent spinning.

Fortunately, the BMW 3 Series Coupe finally came to a stop in the middle of the track and the driver was able to pull away easily, also avoiding the sweaty YouTube pressure.

Now, the adventure mentioned above awaits you at the 8:21 point of the clip below, but you should know the rest of the video being packed with action (heck, the E36 BMW wasn't the only one that went through a near crash).

There's quite a bit of room in the garage that is this aficionado's heart, so factory-condition classics and widebody contraptions with turbos poking through the hood can peacefully coexist.
