December turned out to be quite a surprising month this year, with plenty of big news from BMW. After launching the fifth generation M3, we recently also stumbled upon a pdf sent out to American BMW dealers, revealing the optional features and prices of the brand new 2 Series Coupe.
As we reported earlier, the North American continent will be seeing only the 228i and M235i models at first and the first will start at USD32,100 whilst the latter at USD43,100 (prices are without the USD925 destination and handling tax).
For this kind of money you’ll get plenty of standard features like multifunction steering wheel, sport automatic transmission with paddles, automatic climate control, Dynamic Cruise Control, BMW TeleServices and many others (check out the attached pdf for all of them).
As for the packages, the most sought after one will probably be the Dynamic Handling Package that includes M Sport Brakes, Adaptive M Suspension and Variable Sport steering that will be stock on the M235i and USD1,400 on the 228i. Other packages include the Cold Weather Package (with heated M Performance Steering wheel), Driver Assistance Package, Driver Assistance Plus, Lighting Package, Premium Package and Technology Package.
