While most of us will never own a superyacht in this lifetime, that doesn't mean we can't dream a little and get a feel for what things could be like. That said, let's dive into the Blue Angel, a Sanlorenzo machine that's currently up for grabs.
Folks, €12,500,000, or $13.5M (at current exchange rates), is how much we're being asked to drop on the floating dream before us. But it's not the price that matters here; the sheer beauty that this vessel displays has my blood flowing. To see why that is, lend me your eyes for the next few minutes.

The Blue Angel's story begins back in 2021 when it was completed and launched by none other than Sanlorezno, the one and the same that's been around since 1958 and building ships to the precise needs and wants of their owners. Clearly, bespoke units aren't cheap, and that's what Sanlorenzo offers.

This brings us back to the Blue Angel, which, according to Northrop & Johnson, is an SL 120 Asymmetric, one of Sanlorenzo's most ingenious yachts. Why? By shifting the spaces around on the deck and breaking traditional lines of symmetry, the builder created seamless transitions from interior to outdoor areas in the process, giving guests a feeling of one massive space.

Now, the SL 120 is typically suitable for up to ten guests; Blue Angel can only accommodate eight. The same is true for crew members; Sanlorezno states that six can be along for the ride, but this version only requires four deckhands. Clearly, the design has been tampered with, and that's a reason why there's such a price tag.

Honestly, I encounter quite a number of ships on a daily basis, and if there's one thing I can say about the Blue Angel's interior, it's that it boasts one of the cleanest and most modern layouts I've seen in some time.

The main lounge is expansive and invites guests with three spaces: an entertainment center, a full kitchen, and a dining hall. But if you want to eat outdoors, the alfresco dining area is accessed via floor-to-ceiling sliding doors.

From here, we can take a few steps upward to the flybridge, where guests can soak up as much sun as they wish or escape the sun under the shade of a bimini ready with yet another bar. It's also here that you can sweet-talk the captain into letting you unleash all 27 knots (31 mph) of top speed this ship can achieve.

However, my favorite space aboard the Blue Angel is the beach club. Why? If this question is on your mind, you clearly didn't check out the image gallery. First, the sides of the Blue Angel unfold to reveal not one, not two, but three floating platforms, which guests can use for lounging around, diving into local waters, or hopping on any of the toys this ship has in store—we'll talk more about that shortly.

Part two of the beach club is the interior living comforts offered. Well, "interior" is a bit of an understatement as the space is open on three sides, but it's the perfect place to relax after a dive in the local waters or if you're just looking to escape the sun.

For the toy part of the story, the Blue Angel prepares a tender for those eight guests and a Seabob. But that interior space I mentioned earlier can be repurposed to fit countless other machines. If you end up being the owner of this ravishing creature, you'll be able to throw in paddleboards, jet boards, some jet skis, and even inflatable gear. How about some fishing gear of biodegradable golf balls and a set of clubs? Honestly, our imagination is the only limit here.

Now, once the sun has cooked you to your desired levels, you've had a bit too much to eat, or just need to retire for the night, the Blue Angel is ready with four staterooms where you can lay your head until the next party.

But the owner's suite is the icing on the cake. It's ready with a beam-to-beam layout, ensuite bathroom, work desk, and floor-to-ceiling mirrors to create the feeling that the room is a lot larger than it is. Kick back for a moment and picture yourself and your significant other in this space. The rest is history.

As the evening draws close, you arise from your nap, and the first thing you do is hit the sauna to prepare your bones and muscles for the long night ahead. This time around, the captain has a hidden cove on the itinerary, one with sand so fine it can be used to count time in an hourglass.

Well, the sands of time are flowing for the Blue Angel, so if you know how to manage a superyacht and are looking for your next investment, this may be the one. Maybe it's just you and seven other friends with a million or two off to the side and looking for something to spend it on. Again, this may be the one for you; it would be for me if I was a millionaire.
