Every year, people put cash off to the side precisely for this moment: Black Friday. In this spirit, we've put together a list of the absolute best deals we could find for the upcoming event on Amazon. That said, this is for the ones who love to explore the outdoors with as little cash as possible.
Updated With New Deals: 11/23/2023

Folks, Black Friday is just around the corner, and this means that manufacturers have already begun to show us what we're in for. So, without further ado, peel those eyelids back, grab your adventure checklist, and let's start shopping!

Solar Smartwatches

While you're out and about traveling the world, it helps to know what time it is, especially if your RV is sucking up energy from the sun. For $350, Garmin is selling their Instinct Crossover Solar smartwatch, helping you stay connected with city dwellers and tracking that sun, among countless others.

Also from Garmin, and for the same price as the Instinct, the Instinct 2X Solar is also up for grabs at $350. Built to U.S. military standards and with a display that's "2X" larger, there should be no limit to the level of abuse it can handle.

The third piece from Garmin, and my absolute favorite, is the Instinct 2 Solar, but the Tactical Edition. Take the worry out of charging as long as you're out and about for around three hours a day; perfect for the RV and camper lovers among us. It's also going for $350, so what do you have to lose?

Looking for something a bit more stylish and powerful? Why not aim for Garmin's Fenix 7X, completed with titanium, sapphire, and solar-powered once again? The large display is also this watch's discerning feature. Or was it the price, $687, reduced 24%.

Drop $87 and grab the Fenix 7 Pro without the massive display but filled with enough features and abilities to match the 7X. Capture the power of the sun for $600.

At $500, Garmin's basic Fenix 7 is up for grabs, helping you track your health, the time left in the day, communicate with your home base, and yes, it's also powered by the sun.

If the power of the sun isn't your thing, or you're just bent on the Apple ecosystem, the Apple Watch Ultra 2 is going for a solid $739, reduced by a measly 8%. No solar power, but up to 72 hours of battery life in low power mode ensures this is still a solution you can depend on while out and about.

Lightweight Solar Generators

In today's day and age, just about everything is powered by electricity, so in this spirit, I've chosen to put together a list of the best portable solar generator deals I could find on Amazon. The first two are for those of us looking to travel light, while the other three are all about taking the worry off your mind, but for a much higher price, of course.

These days, Bluetti is also one of the portable battery manufacturers making a heavy move on the market. They, too, offer a lightweight solution, the EB34, with 268 Wh of juice and a weight of 10.14 lbs (4.6 kg), perfect for quick and easy trips. You'll need to drop $198 on this hunk of LiFePO4.

At $200, EcoFlow is here with the juicy 288 Wh River with a peak output of 1,200 W, solar charging, AC outlets, USB ports, and weighing just 11 lbs (5 kg). The sort of setup that's just right for an array of situations, including power outages and even home use.

Large Solar Generators

Now, for those of us who need more power, be it for an RV or even your home, the best deal I found lies with Anker's Solix F1200 portable power station. Reduced 50%, we're looking at a $700 piece of hardware with 1,229 Wh and rated 4.5 / 5 by 253 customers. That's 42.1 lbs (19 kg) of solid LFP.

Also on the heavy side and showing a price drop of 35%, EcoFlow is back with their Delta 2 power station with 1,024 Wh of juice. For $649, our need for electricity while out and about is sure to be met. Just remember, it's 27 lbs (12.2 kg) of material, so you won't be carrying this up any hills without a car or e-bike at best.

The final product that needs your attention is Mango Power's E-Home backup power station. Reduced by 41% and selling for $2,500, we can access 3.5 kWh of electric power anywhere you can carry this beast. Use it in an RV, travel trailer, or even at home. Throw on a pair of solar panels and enjoy free energy.

Cargo Solutions

Let's say you own a 4x4 or truck and want to hit the road, sleeping under the stars along the way. Well, what better way to get started than with the best deals on cargo solutions we could find?

With such a big event taking place, Thule couldn't resist dropping some special gear into our hearts. The Motion XT cargo carrier is a $759 option to store whatever you need on your adventures, all the while leading the way with Thule's know-how and dynamics, such as dual-side opening and a quick-mount system.

If you don't have a rail system on your car, it's not a problem these days, and one team offering a soft-shell and waterproof cargo bag is Asinking, with their $80 840D-rated cargo bag. That's 21 cubic feet of storage space for this sort of cash.

Stepping away from roof-mounted goods for a moment, we find ourselves at the rear of our vehicles and looking at OKLead's hitch-mounted cargo carrier. For $173, you can store up to 500 lbs (227 kg) of gear on this "heavy-duty" solution.

Carry Your Toys

For those of us who own bicycles, carriers are a godsend, especially if we're traveling far. This is where Bell steps in with their Right Up 350, a three-bicycle hitch rack selling for an easy $176. But the important aspect here is that 958 people love this stuff, give or take a few.

If bikes aren't quite your thing, for less than $70, $68 to be precise, you can seize a 4-in-1 kayak roof rack that's good for just about any watersport toy you can think of from XGeek. Canoes, kayaks, surfboards, skis, and foil boards all have a place here.

Foodstuffs

Looking to keep your foods fresh and ready to go wherever and whenever you and your vehicle or RV are? Then check out Bodega's 53-quart portable fridge and freezer, reduced by 41% to a solid $264. There may not be a cheaper option than this one, folks.

For around $50 less, Euhomy offers us their 59-quart fridge freezer. It's quite a hefty one, just as the images show us, and weighs 32.24 lbs (14.7 kg), but, according to Amazon, 100+ units have been sold over the past month, and with a 4.6 out of 5 rating, what's there to think about?

Solar Panels

For those of us who know what it means to capture the power of the sun, you better whip out $469 for 400 portable watts of solar panel from AllPowers. This foldable and portable solar panel weighs 39.6 lbs (18 kg), is fitted with an MC4 connector, and is IP67-rated.

Don't need that much power? How about EcoFlow's 160-watt panel for a juicy $239, a price that's been dropped 80%? It's 15.4 lbs (7 kg) of monocrystalline silicon that you can whip out wherever and whenever there's sunlight.

Last but definitely not least, and what could be the best deal around whenever we talk about solar panels, BougeRV has a 100 W monocrystalline solar panel selling for just $70. What!? What did I miss?

That last one still has me shocked! I guess that's why people put cash off to the side for Black Friday; these deals are just insane and the perfect opportunity to get into the mobile and off-grid lifestyle.
