While Cadillac is putting the final touches on the facelifted iteration Escalade, which we recently saw in the open fully uncovered, certain enthusiasts keep modifying theirs.
Some Escalades from the latest generation feature various add-ons on the outside for a sportier vibe. Others have had their interior reupholstered, and a select few have overcome their OEM status in terms of performance by receiving a power boost.

Most tuning jobs, however, revolve around the wheel and tire aspect of the premium SUV, which is the main attraction of the vehicle pictured above. The car in question celebrates its 15 minutes of fame on Forgiato's social media, boasting new alloys in a humongous size that only a few rides could cope with.

Due to the huge size of the Cadillac Escalade, 28-inch wheels do not look out of place. This one rocks a set with a multi-spoke design and a silver finish, shod in rubber band tires to fit under the arches without chopping them. Any vehicle with oversized wheels and thin tires is seriously uncomfortable compared to its stock self, and this also applies to the pictured high-rider.

We certainly wouldn't want to take this Escalade out for a long drive, and since the main modification has also affected the turning radius, it wouldn't be the first choice for a grocery run, either. On the other hand, it looks just perfect for a calm weekend drive, and while it may be ridiculous from a technical perspective, we love it.

We're also fans of the hip-hop-related background, and in this specification, the SUV could certainly star in a music video. The vehicle is on the verge of going viral, as Forgiato's Instagram post that we embedded at the bottom of this story has received over 41k likes in just one day. Thus, we're not the only ones who dig the blacked-out look of this vehicle and those oversized alloys.

Now, while the latest-gen Escalade keeps appearing in our news feed for various reasons, Caddy is preparing its mid-cycle refresh. We spotted a naked prototype earlier this month during a lunch stop at a fast-food restaurant in the United States, revealing its novelties. These include the new lighting signature up front with a split headlamp design, a refreshed grille, and a few tweaks at the rear.

It has a ginormous widescreen display inside stretching from one A-pillar to the other, another screen for the HVAC system, new air vents, a different steering wheel, a revised center console with a dial-like gear selector, and a few other features. Production should commence in the second half of 2024, so we should see it in an official environment in a few weeks before Cadillac opens the order books.
