Overtaking in a high-speed can be a tricky business, and this video explains very well just how wrong can things sometimes go.
Failing to assess the presence of other riders in the vicinity of one's bike can lead to really nasty collisions. While for some riders even a soft brush can be enough to lose control of their machines, literally crashing into the nearby bike is a 100% sure method to come off the motorcycle... and maybe get a free ride to the nearest hospital, too.
The outcome of this crash left the riders barely injured, though in pain. The rear bike however, has sustained extensive damage and needs a new tank, front rim, clutch lever, grips, exhaust, bar end slider, replacement slider for case cover, possibly new rear tail section and fairing stay. New suit, helmet, and case for the GoPro camera are needed, also.
