The 2011 Bentley Mulsanne has been bestowed with the ‘Best Limousine for the Red Carpet’ prize at the Gulf Connoisseur Awards ceremony, that took place at the luxurious Armani Hotel in Dubai. It outclassed both the Maybach 57 and the Rolls Royce Phantom in order to get the award.
“The car has been incredibly well received since its launch earlier this year and this is further confirmation of our efforts in producing the very best in luxury motoring,” says Chris Buxton, Bentley Director for Middle East, Africa and India.
While staying true to Bentley’s long history, the engineers wanted to make a car worthy of carrying the prestigious badge into the next decade. The car features bold design, similar to that of the Bentley S-Type of the 1950s. The long hood, coupled with short front overhang and long rear overhang creates a sense of power and presence, reinforced by muscular haunches and sharply sculptured lines which flow from the front wings to the rear one. It also features sporty 20 inch wheels (optionally you can have 21 inch ones) with a five-spoke design.
“In the category of Limousines for the Red Carpet, the new Mulsanne from Bentley has proved to be a powerful and elegant driver's car. The all-new Bentley flagship sets new standards in terms of comfort, effortless performance and hand-crafted refinement. No other carmaker can offer such a blend of performance and refinement in a single vehicle,” according to K.N.Ned, Sales & Marketing Director, Gulf Connoisseur.
Despite it’s official launch scheduled to take place in December, the Mulsanne has won numerous awards and has been ordered by a large number of customers.
