The Bentley Mulsanne Cabrio is expected to receive the production green light by the end of the current year and now we also have a rumor connected to the price of the car.
It seems that the the open-air version of the Mulsanne will come with a price tag of over GBP275,000 (EUR347.500 or USD436.850), with the vehicle expected to enter production in almost two years from now.
Bentley showed a preview of the vehicle to select customers during the recent Pebble Beach event, in order to receive feedback for developing the vehicle. The carmaker wants to give the convertible version its own identity, which could mean that the interior will be a bespoke one.
It seems that the sedan’s platform will be shortened and it will be wrapped in a package that will share the first’s design only up to the A pillars. However, from the windscreen to the rear bumper, the vehicle will get its own design.
Bentley is expected to produce up to 250 convertibles each year, with a strong focus being placed on the US market, the most important one for the vehicle.
