The Audi R8 just keeps receiving more and more aftermarket packages and we are here now to give you a new one: German aftermarket developer B&B Automobiletechnik, which likes to play with VW Group vehicles, has developed a tech package that gives the R8 V10 even more muscle.
B&B Automobiletechnik’s Stage 3 performance kit (EUR14,950) includes a new exhaust system, a modified induction system, a carbon air filter, as well as a remapped ECU. Thus, the engine has been upgraded from 525 hp and 530 Nm to 610 hp and 600 Nm and can now send the supercar past the 100 km/h (62 mph) mark in 3.6 seconds, allows it to play the 0 to 200 km/h (124 mph) game in 10.8 seconds and offers it a top speed of 300 km/h (205 mph).
To handle the extra power, the R8 has been gifted with a set of lowering springs (EUR998) that brings it 25 mm closer to the road, but customers can also chose an adjustable coilover suspension (EUR3,950) that offers three levels of height and a racing coilover suspension (EUR4,950).
The tuning house has also installed a carbon-ceramic braking system (EUR12,950), as well as a set of 10-spoke lightweight alloy rims, than can be ordered in a size of 19 or 20 inches (EUR7,950).
