Dear geeks, may we have your attention please? There is a new gizmo that it’s said to increase your car’s fuel efficiency by giving you tips on how to drive better.
The device is called Automatic and you are supposed to plug it into your car’s data port. After it is connected, you can configure it to send various data to your iPhone or Android smartphone via Bluetooth, to give you more informations about the vehicle.
Automatic will use your smartphone’s GPS an will keep track on your route, giving you tips if you are speeding, braking hard and even if you are stepping too hard on the gas pedal. It can also notice the emergency services and provide them your location, and while help is on it’s way your loved ones will receive a text message letting them know what happend.
Another function will enable you to see information about your engine’s health. When the ‘check engine’ light pops on your dashboard, Automatic will read the fault code that generated it’s appearance and it will decipher it’s meaning.
