Autobahn Stretch Kills Multiple Supercars

The Autobahn is one of the best places to be if you’re driving a supercar, but you must also be aware of the dangers of using the full potential of your vehicle. Unfortunately, we are here to give you a painful example of what happens if you’re not aware of the aforementioned hazard.
As you can see in the adjacent video, a series of supercars and sports cars crashed on the same stretch of Autobahn, with the chain of unfortunate events taking place on Saturday.

In fact, it all started on Thursday, when a Maserati GranTurismo was written off on a stretch of Autobahn in the proximity of Kirchheim, with excessive speed believed to be the cause of the accident.

Back to what happened in the same area on Saturday, we’ll tell you that a Dodge Viper ACR hit the splitter, crossed the three lane highway and ended up stuck in the barrier on the side. The vehicle, which was being driven fast on a wet road when the accident happened had been rented for three hours.

Two hours after that, a Chevrolet Corvette that was also being driven at a high rate of speed on a wet surface crashed into the side barrier, but fortunately only suffered limited damage. A few hours after that, a two-month old McLaren MP4-12C had a similar fate, with the supercar being destroyed in the crash. Fortunately, nobody was injured the series of crashes.
