Speaking with AAP, the Australian GO Corporation Andrew Westacott was rather blunt and openly admitted the racing company is making moves to try and lure Casey Stoner back into the MotoGP world, possibly at Phillip Island, Autosport reports.
Despite the fact that Stoner repeatedly said he was out of the MotoGP for good and Honda insisted that having him as a wildcard appearance at Phillip Island was "out of the question", it looks like not all hope is dead for some.
Westacott also said that the Australian GP will have some talks with both Honda and Stoner over the upcoming three months and that they'll be only too happy to welcome him, in case he decided to show up on a MotoGP machine.
Honda recently announced they will have Casey Stoner at Motegi in Japan, testing the RC213V bike the manufacturer plans to offer to non-MSMA teams in 2014.
