The Sport quattro was one of our favorite concepts from this year's Frankfurt Motor Show, not because it was pretty, but because it had as much power as a Lamborghini. We're still waiting to see if they will officially confirm it for mass production and this clip will make that wait a little bit more bearable.
It's the first driving footage of the concept, a rare opportunity to see it in action, a rare opportunity that most automakers don't allow us. Audi Deutchland decided to do this to celebrate its first 100,000 fans on Facebook.

The quattro concept has 600 horsepower from its twin-turbo V8 engine alone, plus a little more form its electric motors. A 0 to 100 km/h time of 3.7 second does seem quite believable considering the output.

Audi bosses say they're still pondering quattro production, but the little red button for electric overboost and that digital cluster are definitely going into production cars.

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
