Audi seems to have become bored of monopolizing the Iron Man series with its vehicles, so now the company is expanding its reach to a new franchise. This time, Audi has connected itself to the Star Trek Into Darkness movie.
The motion picture, which is the second of the sci-fi franchise, is set to arrive in theaters across the US on May 17. Until then, Audi is giving us a short film that pits the original Spok, Leonard Nimoy, against the new one, Zachary Quinto.
This creation is more about humor than anything else, being one of those rare cases when product placement doesn’t bother one at all.
The two battle each other and, along they way they obviously use Audi vehicles. We won’t tell you what exactly goes on behind the “play” button, but we can give you this: just when you think the original Spock can laugh in his replacement’s face, an Audi manages to make fun of both.
