The facelifted Audi RS Q8 was recently spotted undergoing testing at the Nurburgring. In addition to the visual updates on the outside and some tweaks in the cabin, a power boost could also be on the menu.
This prototype wore a trippy camo wrap inspired by the famous German racetrack, which combines white, gray, and black with all kinds of red accents. The latter hue is visible on the pattern replicating the racetrack's corners, the new grille, the wheels, brake calipers, side skirts, and at the back.

You’ll need a side-by-side comparison with the outgoing Audi RS Q8 to spot the visual novelties, yet you should know that they're not that discreet. Not when it comes to the super crossover's face, anyway, which has a thicker grille surround, a different air intake in the bumper that blends into the side vents, a more sizeable integrated apron, and new headlamps with fresh graphics.

Audi's design team went for a more aggressive rear-end design, too, as the facelifted RS Q8 features a larger diffuser with an integrated brake light in the middle. The tailgate and roof-mounted spoiler seem to carry over, and the taillamps sport a new design. It is likely that the four-ring logo will still be positioned above the license plate and the RS Q8 badge on the left-hand side of the tailgate.

Don't mind the roll cage and the racing seats inside, as these were there for safety purposes only and won't make their way to the production version. Suppose the normal Q8 and the sporty SQ8 are any indication. In that case, we expect the range-topping version of the series, the RS Q8, to pack a fresh digital gauge cluster, a more modern infotainment system with new touches, and probably revised upholstery and trim for more personalization.

Since its more exotic cousin, the Lamborghini Urus, was facelifted and has become a bit punchier, we wouldn't rule out a slight boost in power for the 2025 Audi RS Q8. The outgoing one enjoys 591 horsepower (600 ps/441 kW) and 590 pound-foot (800 Nm) of torque from its 4.0-liter V8 engine with dual turbos, channeled to the quattro all-wheel drive system through an 8-speed Tiptronic transmission. Audi quotes 0-60 (0-97 kph) in 3.7s and a 155 mph (250 kph) limited top speed.

A small power boost would make the facelifted Audi RS Q8 a hair quicker than its predecessor, and while that may seem like the logical move, we wouldn't hold our breath for any extra oomph, as there's a small chance that it may not be on the menu. A small bump in pricing could be, though, so don't act surprised if the 2025 model costs over $125,800, which is the current one's MSRP, before destination.
