We continue our coverage of the awesome cars Vossen is shooting on its tour of Europe with another great custom motor. Yesteaday, we showed you an RS4 Avant sitting in a field of dandelions, but it's time for something a bit more serious.
This is the RS5 coupe launched in 2010 with a 4.2-liter naturally aspirated V8 producing 450 PS at a screaming 8,000 rpm. Technology was shared with the 5.2-liter FSI V10 and the reworked engine was also given the fastest gearbox available, a 7-speed S tronic dual clutch.
The 2010 RS5 is also one of the nicest looking cars designed by Audi… their words not ours. Some three years after its debut, it's still very nice to look at, even with those dated headlights.
The perfect performance sports coupe deserves the perfect wheels, and it got them in the form of the deep-dish VVS082 from Vossen. With a black machined look and stainless steel lip, they are a perfect match for the hunkered down Audi.
