Aston Martin has officially announced their new sportscar to replace the DB9, the Vanquish, will make its official debut for the US at Pebble Beach between August 15th and the 19th. The official unveiling will take place on the 15th at McCall’s Motorworks Revival before the car is sent to the The Quail: A Motorsports Gathering on the 17th.

The new Vanquish is DB9 is built on a hollow-cast aluminum chassis wrapped in the most gorgeous carbon fiber body you’ve ever seen. This makes the car 55 kg (120 lbs) lighter, but also 25 percent stiffer.
Power and a great deal of noise comes from a 6-liter V12 engine that delivers 565 hp (573 PS), which is 55 hp more than the DBS. The 0 to 100 km/h spring is dealt with in 4.1 seconds and the car reach a top speed of 295km/h (183mph).
Pricing for the US market has been set at $279,995, while in Canada, the Vanquish will cost CAD296,000. Deliveries will start across America in early 2013.
