In May of last year, Aston Martin unveiled the so-called DBX707 AMR23 Edition in honor of their 2023 Formula 1 car, dubbed the AMR23. They wanted to get that SUV out in the world quickly, paying tribute to what was already looking like a Constructors Championship contender.
Fernando Alonso drove the AMR23 F1 car to a podium finish during the first Grand Prix of the year in Bahrain, following that up with two consecutive third place finishes in Saudi Arabia and Australia. The AMR23 was riding high.

This year, they’ve waited until July to unveil the DBX707 AMR24 Edition, and we can’t help but wonder whether they struggled with the idea – since the AMR24 F1 car is nowhere near as good as the AMR23 was in relation to everybody else on the grid. Regardless, I suppose we should be happy seeing as how we’ve got a brand-new special edition super SUV to admire, although, it’s kind of difficult to tell it apart from its predecessor.

You can take a closer look at the AMR23 Edition DBX707 right here and let us know in the comments what you think. The AMR24 features a refreshed interior - so I guess that's something.

For 2024, this special edition DBX707 is said to utilize a curation of unique color and trim features that unify the world of Formula 1 with what Aston Martin considers to be the most dynamic and powerful luxury SUV on the market.

Visually, you get a choice of Podium Green, Onyx Black or Neutron White paint, to go with Aston Martin Racing Green or AMR Lime brake calipers and 23” Fortis wheels in either satin or gloss black. There’s also an exclusive AMR24 engine plaque to play with. Meanwhile, the Lime Green or Trophy Silver accents are reminiscent of those on both the AMR24 F1 car as well as the Official Medical Car of F1.

Moving on to the interior, the AMR24 Edition model boasts the Inspire Sport trim which you can get in a choice of two colorways: Onyx Black (Monotone) with a striking Lime stitch and piping, or Onyx Black / Eifel Green Duotone with a lime contrast stitch. Further details can be specified with extended carbon fiber and dark chrome jewelry, or titanium mesh complemented by satin chrome.

You can then find the Aston Martin logo applied in foil to the dash panel, while AMR24 is etched into the door sills. There’s also a bespoke, lime hand-stitched saddle strap for the wireless charging station, which makes for a nice touch.

In terms of sound system, the DBX707 AMR24 is bumping music via a Bowers & Wilkins system, specially designed for the DBX707’s interior volume and shape.

As for performance, you already know what it is – this thing can rocket to 60 mph in just 3.1 seconds thanks to its twin turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 and 9-speed ‘wet clutch’ automatic gearbox. The 697 hp (707 ps) can also get you to a top speed of 193 mph (310 kph), which is highly impressive for any SUV.

“Now with a technically advanced interior to match its class leading performance, the DBX707 AMR24 Edition is a stand-out ultra-luxury SUV with incredible road presence. Aston Martin are competing at the pinnacle of world motorsport, which represents a key pillar in our brand and product strategy for our road cars, and it’s a real pleasure to offer this special edition in celebration of the Aston Martin Aramco Formula 1 Team,” said Aston Martin exec Marco Mattiacci.

The DBX707 AMR24 Edition is already available for customers to order, although there's no official word on pricing.
