Chevrolet is ramping up its global gears, as the automaker has introduced the new brand’s first global midsize sedan, the all-new Malibu to the Korean market. Production will starts by the end of this month, with sales to kick off on November 1st.
“Korea is the first country to produce and sell the all-new Malibu,” said GM Korea President and CEO Mike Arcamone. “With expressive styling, a comfortable cabin, outstanding ride and handling, and top-notch safety, it will exceed the expectations of consumers.”
The Malibu is new to the Korean market, but the nameplate is now a 35 year old tradition in the mid-size sedan industry. Over 8.5 million have been sold so far, but the new one will surely double this figure, as it will be sold in 100 markets across the world.
