Stellantis recently recalled no less than one million Jeep, Ram, Dodge, and Chrysler vehicles in America because of software issues – but that's no reason to stop buying them, according to the imaginative realm of digital car content creators.
All of Stellantis' beloved American brands have something new on the pipeline – Ram is preparing the refresh of the HD series, Dodge will soon bring out the 2024 Charger Daytona in EV form and the 2025 Sixpack with the twin-turbo 3.0-liter Hurricane inline-six, and hopefully, Chrysler will finally get a bit of love from the corner office head honchos, too.

As for Jeep, the specialized brand has already created the Mopar Gladiator, went back on its promise to give us the V8-powered Wrangler 392 Final Edition only for the 2024 model year by announcing it will become available for 2025MY too, and no less than three all-new Jeeps are also coming. There's an all-new Renegade upcoming with an electric offering, a fresh Compass, and something that we haven't seen yet.

So, it turns out, according to the rumor mill, that the Jeep Renegade isn't retired – it just went on a vacation. Soon, there will be an all-new generation, complete with an electric version costing less than $25k, according to a presentation, for the 2027 model year. The lightly updated Compass is also not biting the dust – instead, it will get a new version that will stick around beyond 2027. As such, it is no wonder the imaginative realm of digital car content creators has started speculating about its potential looks.

Some believe it will be an all-electric model, too, while others think that a hybrid 4xe version will suffice. Well, Dimas Ramadhan, the virtual automotive artist behind the Digimods DESIGN channel on YouTube, has taken up the task of CGI-revealing an 'all-new' Compass from Jeep that remains ICE powered but also steals some of the design traits from the newly introduced Jeep Wagoneer S, especially the new seven-slot grille styling and the full width LED taillights. However, the little Compass doesn't feature an all-electric powertrain, as showcased by the dual exhaust setup. Instead, it could easily be a hybrid or even a PHEV model and enter the 4xe family with pride and prejudice.

Alas, do take all these CGI illustrations with a pinch of salt – there's nothing official from Jeep just yet, and the specialized brand plans to stay relevant in the sea of CUV and SUV copycats. So, perhaps the next Renegade and Compass will feature a radical redesign instead of subtle upgrades from one generation to the next. What do you think? Is this styling enough to persuade customers to choose the Jeep Compass over its rivals, especially knowing there's a huge roster of competitors vying for the top sales position?
