The incident happened on Friday and ended with Baldwin in handcuffs, being taken downtown. He was charged with assault and harassment and was issued a desk appearance ticket. Meanwhile, his victim was taken to the hospital because he was complaining about jaw and neck pain.
Reports say that the incident occurred on 10th Street in Manhattan, close to where Baldwin lives. He had asked a friend to keep a parking spot for him, but the victim swooped in and stole it from him. When Baldwin arrived in his car, he got out and confronted the man, and he was so furious that he immediately started throwing punches.
At least, that’s the story the victim told the police. On his Twitter, the actor insists that the arrest was another misunderstanding, where he’s turned into a scapegoat because everyone knows he’s a rage monster. He also says he’s being targeted because it’s the perfect clickbait.
He may have a point, sort of. In a separate report, TMZ notes that the surveillance video of the incident is blurry but still indicates that Baldwin didn’t throw punches. He actually slapped the guy, which is a minor offense (though still assault). Apparently, the video could also prove that the fight over the parking spot was “mutual combat,” in that both men were out for blood.
If that last part of the report is true, we have an accurate picture of how bad parking in the Big Apple really is.
1- Normally, I would not comment on something as egregiously misstated as today’s story.

However, the assertion that I punched anyone over a parking spot is false.
I wanted to go on the record stating as much.
I realize that it has become a sport to tag people w as many negative
2- negative charges and defaming allegations as possible for the purposes of clickbait entertainment.

Fortunately, no matter how reverberating the echos, it doesn’t make the statements true.
