While camper vans have become wildly popular due to individuals who spend their lives on the road, the so-called van-lifers, for many people, these rolling tiny homes are becoming an alternative to moving around on a daily basis. With a clever interior configuration, these vehicles can eliminate the need to own a second passenger car, as they allow you to transport several people, run your errands, and even go on business trips without worrying about where you'll spend the night.
In this piece, we'll throw a spotlight on Affinity Three, a top-class camper van built in Europe that can do all of the above and is perfect for both daily tasks and outdoor adventures. Based on a Fiat Ducato, this camper van is the latest addition to Affinity RV's range of Class-B motorhomes.
Most of you are probably not familiar with the name, so it’s worth mentioning that Affinity is a Polish company that was founded in 2019, backed by Swedish RV giant KABE, the latter of which has almost 70 years of experience in the business. Affinity launched its first campervan in 2020, and in a very short time, it won the hearts of many outdoor enthusiasts in Scandinavia, Germany, and other European countries. Due to the originality of their designs and innovative small-living solutions, they quickly achieved a level of production of several hundred vehicles per year.
While other campervan manufacturers around the world strive to build an extensive portfolio in a bid to meet the particular tastes and needs of as many clients as possible, Affinity has taken a different approach. The brand only has a handful of models in its lineup but offers versatile layouts for different travel needs.

The incredible versatility of the layout is also Affinity Three's unique selling point. But before diving deeper into how the interior can adapt to your changing needs, let’s look at some technical specifications. As mentioned, the camper van is based on a Fiat Ducato that is simple to drive and agile to handle. It is powered by a EURO 6D 2.2-liter, 180 hp (183 ps) engine that delivers a maximu torque of 450 Nm, coupled to a nine-gear automatic transmission.
In terms of dimensions, the van is 636 cm (250 inches) long, 290 cm (114 inches) high, and 210 cm (83 inches) wide, which is apparently enough to create a fully functional house on wheels inside. The rather unassuming exterior hides a cozy interior that provides an incredible sense of space and feels like a inviting tiny home. The van boasts framed windows, double internal floor, and wall, floor, and ceiling insulation.
At first sight, this beautiful and practical camper van boasts a basic layout with two single beds at the rear of the vehicle, a central kitchen, a small wet room, and a dinette/lounge at the front. But there is more than meets the eye about it, as the rear beds can be slid next to each other to create one large double bed, and the second-row bench seat at the front can also unfold to create additional sleeping space together with the swiveling driver’s seat. This makes it suitable for a family of three (two adults and a child).

What’s more, the rear of the van offers extended functionality. Besides a comfortable sleeping space and a practical wardrobe, this area incorporates a generous garage compartment thanks to a revolutionary solution that allows to raise the beds and transport anything you need for your outdoor adventures, including bikes, sports equipment, and larger pieces of luggage.
The rear beds are mounted on a platform that can be moved upwards when needed with the push of a button. Then, all you need to do is fold the wardrobe between the beds and lift the upper floor and a good-sized luggage compartment is created. The bed lifting system is electrically powered, which makes the process quick and easy. (A short video of the whole process is embedded below.) When the bed is in a raised position, it can be accessed via a ladder that is stowed away under the floor when traveling.

Moving towards the front of the van, a four-person dining/lounging area comprises the swiveling front cab seats, an adjustable table, and a bench seat. As already mentioned, this area can be converted into a third bed for a child (160x90 cm/ 63x35 inches).
A compact yet functional kitchen occupies the center of the van and offers enough cabinet space for cooking essentials. In terms of appliances, it is equipped with a double-burner cooktop, a stainless steel sink with hot and cold water, and a 70-liter refrigerator, which guarantee modern functionality on the road.
The Affinity Three also has an interior bathroom. It's a wet room with a fold-away washbasin, a toilet, and a shower. Various cabinets for storing toiletries and cosmetics and mirror doors ensure comfortable use of the bathroom area.
Overhead cabinets are included not only in the kitchen and lounge area, but also above the rear beds, adding plenty of extra storage space for personal belongings.

All the wall cabinets are neatly integrated to avoid obstructing the view. Moreover, the fridge and the wardrobe have been strategically placed beneath the line of sight to visually enlarge the interior and give a sense of spaciousness.
Other noteworthy features meant to ensure a comfortable camping experience include an insulated 110-liter fresh water tank, a 110-liter gray water tank, two skylights, and a Truma Combi 4E gas-electric heater. Affinity RV offers an extensive list of optional features, including an improved suspension, solar package, outdoor shower, awning, AC unit, and more.
