Acura is using the SEMA show to introduce two editions of the ILX, the ILX Street Build and the ILX Endurance racer, with the carmaker looking to add some street credibility and motorsport credentials, respectively. For now, we'll focus on the ILX Street Build, a project that was handled by Evasive Motorsports.
A a 2013 ILX 6-Speed Manual with Premium Package was the starting point, with the 2.4-liter 4-cylinder engine receiving a CT Engineering supercharger kit, a Greddy SP Elite exhaust and an ECU remap (Hondata's FlashPro), resulting in a wheel horsepower rating of 250.
The vehicle is wearing an Acura Genuine Accessories kit and rides on a set of 19-inch Volks G25 wheels that use Pirelli P Zero Tires. The vehicle is also fitted with Tein Street Advance coilovers and a Stoptech big brake kit.
As for the interior, this was gifted with a CT Engineering short-shift kit, Acura Genuine Accessories illuminated door sill, Acura Genuine Accessories, as well as a custom tray for the luggage compartment.
