The BMW 2 Series has just received a series of accessories from an old friend of the brand, AC Schnitzer. The highlight here is the new exhaust system, but this comes with a twist.
As you can hear in the clip below, the exhaust allows us to indulge in rather sweet aural pleasures, while it brings an eye-catching four-tip arrangement. Nonetheless, the quadruple tip scheme is fake, as there are only two pipes exiting the final muffler. The model shown here is an M235i and, given its own audio system-augmented soundtrack controversy, AC Schnitzer’s move isn’t exactly the best.
Aside from this, the coupe was gifted with a set of carbon-look body elements that make the M235i seem like it’s visited the shopping mall. And we mean this in a positive manner.
Melbourne Red was chosen here - not only is this the official hue for the M235i, but the dark aftermarket elements create a strong contrast with the color.
It all starts with the front apron, which receives add-on elements that sit under the side air intakes, as well as bespoke kidney grilles. On the side of the car, we find custom mirror caps, while moving to the rear area, we are treated with an upper window element.
When it comes to the rear apron, the area just below the trunk lid receives a special cover, while the lower part of the apron was replaced with a diffuser-like element.
Since this is AC Schnitzer we are talking about, the custom wheels couldn’t be missing, with these adding the final touch to the project.
