Ever since it was launched this summer, the Mercedes-Benz A 45 AMG has been put to the test against its current nearest competitors and, even though it doesn't have a true direct challenger yet, that hasn't stopped car magazines to pair all kinds of hot hatches from other manufacturers against it.
This time it's Which Car's turn, who paired the smallest AMG model with the usual BMW M135i, but also with the much cheaper and less-powered Volkswagen Golf GTi.
The comparison is doomed from the start when it comes to the performance of each model, since the AMG can pretty much dance around both the Golf and the 1-Series both on the track and off of it when it comes to what a hot hatch should really do (perform, that is, ed), but the Brits from Which Car decided to put them head to head anyway.
We didn't manage to understand what was the original purpose of the comparo or who the winner is in the end, but we guess it's understandable that every chance to watch the supercar-fast A45 AMG is one to take and not pass.
