We've talked about the Brabus-tuned G63 AMG 6x6 on a number of occasions, always knowing that this is one of the most ostentatious cars ever made. With a carbon fiber body kit, the best interior this side of a palace and gold-plated engine bits, we knew it was special. But we never realized it sounds so good.
Up next, we're going to show you a video by TwinTurbo250 Production, who claims this is the only video on Youtube that "shows this beast revIng and accelerating like this". And you know what? He's not kidding; this really is the best video of the 6x6 we've ever seen.
The aural experience is nothing short of diabolical, as the twin-turbo 5.5-liter engine bellows like a NASCAR V8. Our hair stood on end during a spirited driving session going on in a long tunnel, where the G63 plays childish games with a Ferrari 458.
The tuners from Bottrop are only going to build 22 of these machines, nicknamed B63 S 700 6x6. They feature some pretty serious engine mods that increase the engine output by 156 hp and 200 Nm (147 lb-ft), resulting in the delivery of 700 hp and 960 Nm (708 lb-ft) of torque.
It's claimed that the six-wheeler can rival a hot hatch in terms of acceleration, dealing with the sprint from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 7.4 seconds. The top speed has been electronically limited to 160 km/h (100 mph), which is impressive… for a tank.
At the time of writing, Brabus has no less than 3 of these brutal machines for sale, with prices somewhere in the region of half a million euros. For a gold-plated, carbon fiber, twin-turbo tank, that's kind of cheap!
