German automaker Mercedes-Benz is on the verge of launching one of its most radical vehicles yet, the six-wheeled G63 AMG, and has released a new batch of photos on web.
Based on the already classic G-Class SUV, and designed around a military version sold to Australia, the six-wheeled G63 AMG will be an extreme vehicle in every way. Fast, powerful, exclusive and expensive nonetheless, this piece of machinery has already gained a lot of attention.
Set to go on sale in October 2013, the 6x6 G63 AMG will be built in just 20 to 30 units per year and will become Mercedes-Benz's second most expensive vehicle. Official pricing hasn't been released yet, but rumors say it'll fetch more than three times the price of the regular G63 AMG.
In case you haven't read our initial report, the Germans claim that the 544 HP 5.5-liter V8 will allow the 6-wheeled vehicle to sprint from 0 to 62 mph (100 km/h) in less than six seconds, while top speed should reach 100 mph (160 km/h).
Until further info is released from Stuttgart, you can have fun with the almost 50 pictures uploaded in our photo gallery section.
