Subsequent to its spy shot debut from a couple of days ago, the 2026 Jeep Grand Cherokee has just shed its fake skin, albeit in a faux manner. Yep, these are renderings of the upcoming SUV, yet they're quite realistic for the YouTube channel that they were posted on, which is why we thought you'd like to see them.
Signed by AutoYa, the digital illustrations mostly focus on the model's face, which is almost entirely new. A side-by-side comparison reveals that the headlamps are slimmer and the main grille taller. It also has new and repositioned lower lighting units in the new bumper and a very generous air intake towards the lower part.

Curious to see if these CGIs hold any truth in them, we opened up the scoops from earlier this week, which you can find here. And to our surprise, they stay true to the real thing's design. Well, as much as possible, anyway, as there was a thick layer of camouflage hiding the fresh styling cues on the 2026 Jeep Grand Cherokee prototype that was recently scooped in the open.

The digital artist went the extra mile and sketched out the vehicle's cockpit, too. The real 2026 Jeep Grand Cherokee will sport at least a new infotainment system, which seems to be significantly larger than the current one, and it was imagined in the renderings shared in the image gallery above. The CGIs also show the redesigned central air vents, a new two-spoke steering wheel with a flat-bottom design, and a few other tweaks that may or may not be real.

Only time will tell if the model's rendered cockpit is almost the same as the real ride, as we cannot tell if the 2026 Jeep Grand Cherokee has other novelties besides the new infotainment screen that was covered up in the said scoops. Facelifted cars tend to get new steering wheels, updated center consoles, and other modest revisions, so we wouldn't be surprised if the pixel manipulator nailed these aspects. The Stellantis-owned brand might wrap it up with improved self-driving functions, hence the sensors visible on the spied tester.

We expect Jeep to start revealing more of the upcoming Grand Cherokee in the coming weeks or months before the SUV debuts, likely for the 2026 model year in our market, so we should know more about it. In the meantime, we think the fresh one looks better than its predecessor, so Jeep has done a good job at not messing around with a winning recipe. But do you also feel the same? And would you buy the upcoming Grand Cherokee if the budget allows it and if it looks the same as the one portrayed in these renderings?
