At the end of January 2024, Porsche finally revealed to the world its second all-electric model series, the 2024 Macan. However, only two configurations have been presented so far: Macan 4 and Macan Turbo.
In a few words, the premium German sports car and SUV maker aims to deliver up to 630 horsepower "on any terrain and a high level of day-to-day usability." The sporty performance is matched by the high recharging rate of up to 270 kW, and with Launch Control, the 402-hp Macan 4 EV hits 60 mph (96 kph) in just 4.9 seconds, while the Macan Turbo needs just 3.1 seconds.

That's pretty impressive, and it's all thanks to the new Premium Platform Electric (PPE) with 800-volt architecture, used by Porsche for the first time in the second-generation Macan, complete with a 95-kWh net battery pack. However, we bet that Porsche – which is a company that loves model variants – is not finished with the Macan EV and won't leave it in Macan 4 and Turbo format for a long time.

However, they soon jumped to a new order for EV business – the updated 2025 Taycan series, which arrived with a sharper (some will say it's boring) design and a lot of significant upgrades under the skin. We can easily cite the company for the faster charging at up to 320 kW, a new real-world range of 587 km (365 miles) thanks to a larger gross battery of 105 kWh, or the new active chassis plus the extensive efficiency measures.

Alas, the main highlight for the refreshed Taycan is pretty simple – their Turbo S model is now a reasonably good challenge for the 1,020-hp Tesla Model S Plaid and maybe even a rival for the 1,234-hp Lucid Air Sapphire. Simply put, the 2025 Taycan Turbo S is much more powerful than before, surging from 750 to 938 horsepower. Of course, that immediately got people thinking.

The imaginative realm of digital car content creators was also impressed, and soon enough, someone wondered if the potentially upcoming 2025 Porsche Macan Turbo S EV could benefit from the same upgrade as the Taycan Turbo S. So, the good folks over at the AutoYa info channel on YouTube have quickly imagined the CGI looks of the potentially upcoming Porsche Macan Turbo S EV, postulating that it could, too, sport 938 horsepower and sanely beat Tesla's Model Y Performance.

Interestingly, the channel's resident pixel master took the CGI things a step forward and didn't just set up the hypothetical Macan Turbo S Ev with the traditional color reel but also operated some changes to the design – the rear hips are wider now, there's a rear spoiler, larger wheels with beefier brakes and – most importantly – a reworked front fascia that drops the split-headlight styling of the real crossover SUV. How do you like it – yay or nay?
