Genesis has put a price tag on the updated GV80 north of the US border. The model is now on sale in Canada and is offered in different configurations with a pair of powertrain options.
The lineup kicks off with the GV80 2.5T Standard AWD, which features the new 27-inch OLED display. It also benefits from over-the-air updates and comes with fingerprint authentication, a pair of USB-C ports, and the usual lineup of driver assistance gizmos.
Further up the line, we find the 2025 Genesis GV80 3.5T Advanced AWD, which comes with all of the above, as well as four-zone climate control and optional seating for seven (the standard model is a five-seater). Topping the family is the 3.5T Prestige AWD, with its 22-inch wheels, microfiber suede headliner and pillar trim, Nappa leather upholstery, digital rearview mirror, heated and ventilated second-row seats, heated front console armrest, and rear electronic limited-slip differential.
Strangely, Genesis hasn't mentioned the pricing of the 2025 GV80 Standard base grade in Canada, which is the entry-level version of the crossover. This information is unavailable in the press release, and it couldn't be found on the company's local website at the time of writing. For the Advanced 5-seat, the automaker is asking at least CA$75,000 (equal to (US$54,625). The Advanced 5-seat with Tech Package is CA$80,000 (US$58,270), and the seven-seater starts at CA$85,000 (US$61,910). The Prestige 7-seat kicks off at CA$95,500 (US$69,560) and rounds off the offering.
Power comes from a 2.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder unit in the entry-level form, which develops 300 hp (304 ps/224 kW) and 311 pound-foot (422 Nm) of torque. Customers can also choose the 3.5L twin-turbo V6 on the upper grades, which kicks out 375 horsepower (380 ps/280 kW) and 391 pound-foot (530 Nm) of torque. Thus, Canada's GV80 comes with the same powertrain options as the model sold in the United States. But how does it stack up next to it price-wise?
