Genesis has put a price tag on the 2025 GV80 Coupe, announcing the model's specifications for the US market and stating that the first units will arrive at retailers this summer.
The Korean automaker has prepared two versions of the car. The first one is called the GV80 3.5T Coupe AWD and starts at $79,950, and the upper specification, dubbed the GV80 3.5 e-Supercharger Coupe AWD, has an MSRP of $85,750. Both prices exclude the $1,350 destination charge, dealer markups, and options.

So, how does it stack up to the competition? For one, the BMW X6 can be ordered from $74,500. Audi is asking a minimum of $73,700 for the rivaling Q8, and Mercedes only offers the GLE Coupe in AMG form in our market. Thus, it is pricier than the former two and cheaper than the AMGs, which come from $89,800 for the GLE 53 Coupe and $129,050 for the GLE 63 Coupe.

In return for paying nearly $80k before destination, Genesis offers a lot of standard gear on the base 2025 GV80 Coupe. The sporty premium crossover features 20-inch alloys, a panoramic sunroof, handsfree tailgate, LED exterior lighting, Nappa leather upholstery, wood trim with a matte look, leatherette-wrapped upper instrument panel, microfiber suede headliner and pillars, and power door closure.

Genesis' 2025 GV80 3.5T Coupe AWD also comes with heated and ventilated seats at the front and rear, a heated steering wheel, a heated front console armrest, three-zone climate control, head-up display, digital rearview mirror with auto-dimming, ambient lighting, four USB-C ports, 27-inch instrument cluster and infotainment, wireless smartphone integration, Bang & Olufsen audio, fingerprint authentication, wi-fi hotspot, etc.

Picking up the superior 2025 GV80 3.5 e-Supercharger Coupe AWD will get you monoblock front brake calipers, 22-inch alloys, quad exhaust tips, carbon fiber trim, and alloy pedals. This model adds a 48-volt electric supercharger to the motor and boasts 409 hp (415 ps/305 kW) and 405 pound-foot (549 Nm) of torque. The lesser model uses the same 3.5L twin-turbo V6 that kicks out 375 hp (380 ps/280 kW) and 391 lb-ft (530 Nm) of torque. Both feature an 8-speed automatic gearbox and all-wheel drive.

In the safety department, the crossover coupe comes with lane keeping assist, driver attention warning, lane following assist, forward collision warning, blind spot collision-avoidance assist and view monitor, rear cross-traffic collision-avoidance assist, parking collision-avoidance assist, parking distance warning, safe exit assist, advanced rear occupant alert, and no fewer than ten airbags.

Previewed by an eponymous concept, the Genesis GV80 Coupe broke cover last fall in its home market. It is the brand's first-ever crossover coupe and shares many traits with the more practical GV80, and it targets the likes of the Audi Q8, Mercedes GLE Coupe, and BMW X6, as mentioned above.
