Skoda has revealed yet another rendering of the all-new Superb sedan, which they plan to fully detail in February 2015. This time around ,we have our first glimpse of the whole rear section of the car without any sort of camouflage and we have to admit that we like it better than the front.
There's no way of knowing for sure, but it seems Skoda has gone for indirect LED lighting for the majority of the taillight section. Also present are three little dash symbols, which will no doubt light up every time to step on the brakes.
Another thing we noticed is that the rake of the rear windshield is much more pronounced than the current generation. We expect the rear seats have been positioned slightly lower, so despite the coupe lines, headroom should be better.
Skoda has officially admited today that the Vision C show concept was designed to preview this, their next Superb flagship. Now that also means that you can kiss goodbye the idea of a Skoda version of the CC and that the rumors were completely unfounded.
"From the front to the rear, from the large wheels to the gently rearward sloping roof line, the new Superb captivates with clear geometry, strikingly contoured surfaces, sculptural shapes, purist precision and elegant lines as if made from one piece," the all-new 2015 Superb is described by the Czech carmaker.
A total of 8 different engines have been confirmed and should be available by the end of 2015. That's 2 less than the Passat, likely because access to the 218 PS plug-in hybrid system used by the GTE and the twin-turbo 2.0 TDI with 240 PS have not been granted yet.
The basic petrol engine will be the 125 PS 1.4 TSI, though it won't be available at launch. The base diesel will either be a 1.6 TDI or the 120 PS version of the 2.0 TDI. The navigation system will be the same as in the Passat and will be available with Mirror Link. Dynamic Chassis Control will also be available from just €1,500, a very welcomed machine.

Here's what we know:
The all-new Superb is based on the MQB platform, the larger version that's also used by the Passat. The overall length has only increased by about a 20 mm to 4.86 meters, but the wheelbase has grown to 2,836mm, 75mm more than the current generation.A total of 8 different engines have been confirmed and should be available by the end of 2015.
