Just like the model it replaces, the redesigned 2015 Ford Mustang will eventually find its way on the racing track. But since the sixth-generation pony won’t become available until late next year, the first racing versions will most likely debut in 2015.
We don’t know about you, but we’re really anxious to have a look at the next Cobra Jet. However, until Ford Racing rolls out the next drag strip ready vehicle, we’ll just have to settle for 2015 Mustang rendered with a widebody kit and a rear wing by Galpin Auto Sports.
Known for their widebody conversions and numerous aftermarket modifications applied to the iconic musclecar, the folks over at Galpin Auto Sports didn’t waste any time and took the freshly-unveiled 2015 Mustang and slapped some bolt-on widebody fenders on it. Created by shop designed Douglas Breuninger, the pony also features a menacing front splitter, a large rear wheels and racing wheels and tires.
To be honest, it looks more like a street-racing vehicle than a track-focused one, but we still like it. We have no idea whether Galpin will build one of these or not, but we’re keeping our fingers crossed.
