With Black announced as one of the ten colors the 2015 Mustang will become available in, you’d be tempted to say there’s nothing special about the pony car being rendered in this color, especially since the online configurator was fired up last month.
But you’d be wrong, as these new renderings provided by the Mustang6G forums are way better than what you get through Ford’s colorizer. The musclecar looks meaner, sleeker and the brand new 3D tri-bar taillights get the recognition they deserve thanks to the convincing red over black contrast.
As a brief reminder, the 2015 Mustang, which is set to hit dealerships in the fourth quarter of the year, will also become available in Race Red, Competition Orange, Triple Yellow, Deep Impact Blue, Ruby Red, Magnetic, Guard, Ingot Silver and Oxford White.
Yes, we know, there’s no Grabber Blue and Gotta Have It Green on the table for the sixth-generation pony. A shame really, as it would have looked gorgeous in the two popular shades. You don’t have to take our word for it, just check out the renderings we did about a month ago.
