Now that the sixth-generation Mustang has been officially unveiled, you’d better buckle up because there’s a lot of 2015 Mustang info and footage coming your way.
The brand new pony comes with three new major features: design, tech, independent rear suspension and an EcoBoost engine. We’ll be talking about them for a long while starting today, but the first thing we need to do is to take a look at the Mustang’s brand new design, inside and out.
Ford says the new musclecar sports a “’64-’65 look” and other classic design cues. Either way, a video released by Ford today on the car’s exterior styling will share some light on what went into the new design.
The interior is not exactly what we’d call brand new, but it has received numerous and significant updates. It looks good, it’s still Mustang and contains enough state-of-the-art tech to make it last for years. Ford says the interior was extremely important to the design team, who wanted symmetry, proportion and a new degree of premium via leather, aluminum and vinyl inserts.
