Ford Motor Company has created the first-ever 3D-printed chocolate miniature. Using 3D System’s newest chocolate 3D printer, the Blue Oval manufacturer rolled out mini 2015 Mustangs-shaped sweets just in time for Valentine’s Day.
Unfortunately, you won’t be able to munch on the chocolaty 2015 Mustang yet, as what you’re about to see below is just a one-time-only special. However, Ford says it could license the application for the Mustang candy.
"3D printing is one of the hottest buzzwords in the news today and it's great to see more consumers learning about the technology and its applications," said Paul Susalla, Ford supervisor of 3D printing. "We wanted to create something fun to show that while 3D printing made these edible Mustangs, manufacturing-level 3D printing was used in the development of Ford's all-new sports car."
