The brand new 2014 Nissan Rogue will hit the market with the NissanConnect system as standard on all models, the Japanese automaker revealed today, adding it will include three years of complimentary service for the basic apps package.
Customers that select the Rogue SV model will also benefit from NissanConnect Apps, that comes with a suite of compatible apps such as Facebook and Twitter. Ordering the Rogue SL will add Navigation and a larger 7-inch color touch-screen display and SiriusXM Travel Link. The latter is also available as the SV Premium Package.
Unveiled last month in the United States, the 2014 Nissan Rogue is scheduled to go on sale next month with a starting price of “less than $20,000”.
"As demand for in-vehicle connectivity systems continues to grow, Nissan is taking the lead in providing affordable, use-friendly technology under the NissanConnect banner with critical core vehicles such as the 2014 Nissan Rogue, Altima, Sentra and Versa Note," said Pierre Loing, vice president, product planning of Nissan North America. "We expect more than 1.5 million Nissan vehicles will be connected by 2015, with our cloud-based model allowing for periodic updates and the launch of new apps throughout ownership of the vehicles."
