Mercedes has finally offered us the release date for the CLA45 AMG, using its Facebook page to announce that the hot version of the baby CLS is scheduled to make its debut at the 2013 New York Auto Show.
Mercedes announced a competition of Facebook, with the move also including the adjacent image, which reveals the release date for the CLA45 AMG. However, the automotive producer didn’t release any details about the car.

The AMG version of the CLA will be powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that will allow the driver to control 335 hp and over 400 Nm (lb-ft). The unit will send its power to the road via a AMG SPEEDSHIFT DCT seven-speed dual-clutch transmission and a four-wheel drive system supplied by Haldex.

The CLA45 AMG is just one of the new models that will be launched as part of AMG’s offensive, which will see the company spread across multiple segments and offer all-wheel drive on many of its vehicles.
