Since its official debut at the Shanghai Auto Show back in April, the 2014 Maserati Ghibli came into our news section only through a couple of renderings. Now, the Ghibli has finally become more than just a digital white “baby Quattroporte” and a couple of virtual coupes and wagons.
And that’s thanks to YouTube’s “TheMaximumCars”, who decided to share a video that shows a gorgeous blue Maserati Ghibli while being filmed for an ad in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. The vehicle you’re going to see below is powered by a twin-turbo 3.0-liter V6 engine and boasts 410 HP, which makes it the range-topping version.
Although you’re not going to see the new luxury sedan flex it muscles to its full potential, you’ll still get to hear that powerplant roar through the quad exhaust.
Just a as a quick reminder, the 2014 Maserati Ghibli will go on sale early next year with a choice of three V6 engines, one of which is a turbodiesel, a first for the Italian company. The latter delivers 275 HP, while the gasoline V6 mills develop 330 HP and 410 HP respectively.
