South Korean automaker Hyundai has published the first teaser photo of the US-spec 2014 Equus set to debut at the 2013 New York Auto Show.
After receiving a mild facelift for 2013, the luxury sedan is looking to make its way to New York with several updates, a part of them being already showcased on the Asian version.
These updates include new front grille, headlights, LED tail lights and less chrome trim for the exterior, while the cabin comes with brand-new dashboard features, steering wheel and double stitching for the leather-wrapped seats.
Since a luxury sedan wouldn't be worthy of too much attention without the latest technology, Hyundai packed it with updated infotainment system, head-up display, blind spot warning system and new digital instrument cluster.
As far as the engine lineup is concerned, the Equus will get its power from two powerplants, a 3.8-liter V6 with 336 HP, and a 5.0 liter V8 with 416 HP, but we'll just have to wait and see if anything new will be added to that.
